# Overview

> Read the Overview page for today's, this month's and this year's spend, the quarter-on-quarter trend, and the items you own.

**Overview** is the first page you see after signing in. It answers the questions most people open OPTIMAZE to ask, what are we spending now, how does that compare with before, and is anything I own off track.

## What the page shows

| Section | What it shows |
| :- | :- |
| **Daily spend**, **Monthly spend**, **Yearly spend** | Spend for the latest day, the current month and the current year, each with the change against the previous period |
| **Last quarter** | Spend through the last quarter, with the quarter before it drawn alongside for comparison |
| **Insight** | A short written observation about what is driving spend. Select **More** to read all of it |
| **Unit economics**, **Budgets**, **Goals** | The items you own, with a shortcut to create one if you have none |

## Change the date range

The date range at the top of the screen, such as **Last 30 Days**, applies across OPTIMAZE pages that use one.
