Analytics is where you go to answer a question the dashboards did not anticipate, why a line moved, which service drove it, how a node’s spend splits. It charts spend over time and puts the numbers behind the chart in a table beneath it.

Open Analytics

Under Explore, select Analytics. The page shows Spend History for the date range set at the top of the screen, with a table of the same figures underneath.

Choose what to look at

Select Filters to open the filter panel. It has two tabs:
  • Spend: filter raw billing data. Start with For to choose a provider, then Add condition to narrow further. Use + Add condition below the group to add another group of conditions, and Clear all filters to start again.
  • Attribution: scope the view to an attribution model and node.
Use Group By to split the chart by a dimension, such as service or account. Under More options: Select Apply to update the chart and table. Set Granularity to change the time bucket.

Change the chart

Use Colours to change the palette.

Work with the table

The table under the chart lists each group by period with a Total column. Search rows, add a filter to the table, change row density, and select Export to download the figures.

Ask Atlas

Select Atlas AI at the top of the screen to ask a question about what you are looking at. Atlas opens with the page as context, see Atlas.
