Connect Cursor organisation spend to Optimaze using an Admin API key. Optimaze imports usage and cost data for developer AI (Build) spend visibility. A Team plan or above is required.

Prerequisites

  • A Cursor organisation on a Team plan (or higher)
  • Access to Dashboard → Settings → Advanced → Admin API Keys
  • An Admin API key (keys typically start with crsr_)

Set up the Cursor integration

In Optimaze, open Integrations, then choose Cursor (or Create and select Cursor).

Step 1: Create an Admin API key in Cursor

In the Cursor Dashboard, open Settings → Advanced → Admin API Keys and create an Admin API key. Copy the secret once.

Step 2: Enter the key in Optimaze

Paste the Cursor Admin API key into the Optimaze form. Optionally set a display name (for example Cursor production). Credentials are stored encrypted in Optimaze integration config.

Step 3: Create the integration

Submit the form to create the integration. Optimaze validates the key and starts syncing usage and cost data.

What happens next

Usage and cost data appear after the first successful sync. Check status on the Integrations list. Update or rotate the key from the edit screen (leave blank to keep the existing credential).

Troubleshooting

  • Confirm your org is on Team (or higher); Admin API keys are not available on lower plans.
  • Keys must match the crsr_... Admin key format.
  • If validation fails, regenerate the Admin key in Cursor and update the integration.
